FAQ
Straight answers.
What owners ask about Reptify before deciding — how we work, how long it takes, what it costs, what you still own when we are gone, and what we will not promise. Questions about a particular service are answered on that service’s own page, linked at the foot of this one.
How we work
We find the places where your business quietly loses customers online, and we fix them. A call that rings out at 7 p.m. A price list trapped inside an image. Your hours listed three different ways across the web. Each one sends a ready customer to someone else, and you never hear about it.
The work runs in four steps: audit, prioritise, fix, and keep it working. You pay for the fixes your business actually needs, not a package.
With a free Digital Friction Audit. Tell us a little about your business, and within 24 to 72 hours you get a written list of what is costing you customers, in order of what it costs you.
No obligation, and no homework. If you decide to go ahead, we do the work.
A web presence typically takes four to six weeks from go-ahead to launch. Smaller pieces usually take days, not weeks. Ongoing work continues by design.
What affects the timeline most is usually the material only the business can provide: photographs, approved pricing, and decisions about how the business should describe what it does.
At the audit, we’ll make the timeline clear: what depends on us, what depends on you, and what could hold the work up.
Three things. Access to what is already live: your site, your listings, your booking system. The facts only you can give: your hours, what your services are actually called, and any prices you’re happy to publish. And one person who can make decisions.
That last one sets the pace. We can gather everything else ourselves. We can’t make your decisions for you.
Yes, and often you should. If the audit shows your biggest leak is a phone nobody answers after 5 p.m., we fix that first, not the website.
We order the work by what each problem costs you, not by what is most expensive to buy.
A real team. Reptify is an agency run by people, founded by Segg Tan, and everything we install is set up, tested and looked after by us.
AI makes the work faster and more consistent. It isn’t what you’re buying. You’re buying the result: fewer customers slipping away.
No. We work in person across the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Napa Valley, and remotely everywhere else.
In person matters for a few things, like photography or watching how your front desk actually handles calls. For most of the work, remote is just as good.
Yes. Across the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Napa Valley, we’d usually rather come to you: seeing your business as a customer sees it is the most useful meeting there is.
Meetings at our Napa address are by appointment, not walk-in, and when a video call is easier, we use Zoom.
What it costs, and what you keep
Every service has a published starting price:
Always On Front Desk, the AI receptionist: from $450 a month, plus a $900 one-time setup.
AI Workforce Solutions: each worker from $200 a month, plus a $300 one-time setup, added to Always On.
Smart Web Presence, the website: from $3,500 to build, then $200 a month.
AI Visibility Strategy: from $850 a month, plus a $1,500 one-time setup.
Your final price depends on what your business actually needs, and you’ll have it in writing after the free audit. Prices can change without notice; your signed agreement sets what you pay. See what each one includes.
Your domain stays in your name, always. We host and look after the sites we build as part of the monthly fee, and every change is saved, so any of it can be undone.
If you ever leave, we send you your site’s files and point your domain wherever you choose. Nothing is held hostage.
Exactly what we agreed, in writing, before you paid. A site we build stays in our care on its monthly plan: we host it, keep it working and make small changes whenever your business changes.
Some work is finished at launch. Some needs looking after, because the way AI systems describe you keeps changing. We’ll tell you which is which before you pay for either.
Some of it. Once your site is easy for search engines and AI assistants to read, it stays that way.
But those systems keep changing how they find and describe businesses, so being described correctly is ongoing care, not a one-off. We’ll be clear about which is which from the start.
What we will not do
No, and nobody honestly can. Rankings, AI mentions, call volume and revenue depend on your market and on companies neither of us controls. Anyone who promises otherwise is selling the promise, not the work.
What we do is remove the reasons you’re being skipped. It’s a smaller promise, and an honest one.
Only real ones. Every figure on this site is either first-hand or linked to its source, and no review appears until the client has written and approved it.
Where we don’t have one yet, we leave the space empty rather than fill it with something that sounds good.
No. We don’t run affiliate or referral-commission schemes, and we never buy, sell, rent or swap contact lists.
When we reach out to a business, our own team researched it by hand, and we never text anyone just because we found them. Our terms say so in full.
Questions about a specific service
This page is about the company. The detailed questions live with the work they belong to, because that is where they are worth answering properly.
- Always On Front Desk answers whether it sounds robotic, what happens when a caller needs something only a person can do, and how it differs from an answering service.
- AI Visibility Strategy answers whether this is search optimisation under a new name, and how to check what AI assistants say about you today.
- Smart Web Presence answers why a good-looking site can still lose customers, who handles hosting and maintenance, and how this works if you already have a designer.
- Business Photography answers why stock imagery cannot prove anything, who owns the frames afterwards, and why this one is booked in person while the rest runs remotely.
And if the question is really “what is going wrong on my site right now”, that is what the audit answers.
