Solution 01
Always On Front Desk
Answers every call, message and web enquiry the moment it arrives, day or night.
Every call answered by Always On. Even the one at 11pm.
You don’t have to take our word for it — there’s a number on this page. Ring it and listen to it work.

Always On Front Desk. An automated receptionist that answers every call, message and web enquiry the moment it arrives, day or night — taking the details, booking the appointment, and passing you only the ones that need a person. That is the entry setup; modules are added to it as the work you want it handling grows.
Two ways into this page
What it handles
Calls, texts and website chat, each handled the same way and ending in the same place: your calendar.
How it differs
Three contrasts with what you may have tried: it books rather than takes a message, knows your business, and catches the ones who call.
01 — Hear it
Live demo
Call it right now and try to catch it out.
The Always On Front Desk answering this number is the one we install for your business.

Try 01
“What would that cost?”
It answers from the business’s own prices, not a script.
Try 02
“Can I come in on Thursday?”
It asks what it needs to, then books the time while you’re still on the line.
Try 03
“Sorry, can I stop you there?”
Cut in mid-sentence, the way a real caller would.
Try 04
“Is the owner in today?”
It says so rather than guessing, and takes your details for a person.
Four things to try on the call
02 — What it handles
Three channels, one front desk
Whichever way an enquiry arrives, it is handled the same way and ends in the same place: your calendar.
Three ways they reach you. One front desk that answers.
- 01
Calls
Picks up after hours, in a rush, and while the line is already engaged. Asks the questions you would ask.
- 02
Texts
Replies in the thread the customer started, at the speed a text expects, and keeps the conversation moving to a time and date.
- 03
Website chat
Answers what your pages do not, and hands over the booking link before the visitor leaves to check someone else.
It books the appointment.
Availability, service type, address, urgency, whatever your job needs asked — asked, confirmed and written into your calendar while the customer is still on the line.
What reaches you
Only the enquiries that genuinely need a person: the unusual job, the complaint, the one worth a call back. Everything else is already booked by the time you look.
03 — The argument
Do the sum yourself
We are not going to quote you an industry statistic. Every number in the sum is one you already know.
One missed call after you closed isn’t a one-visit problem.
Value of one session
Missed calls
| Period | Missed calls | Money lost |
|---|---|---|
| A month | — | — |
| A year | — | — |
| 2 years | — | — |
Figures vary by business and industry. Each missed call is counted as a client who comes back on the schedule you choose, for the length of the row: in the year row, a client who comes back every month makes 12 visits.
A client who rings once and reaches voicemail rarely rings twice. They ring the next name on the list, book there, and stay there — along with the repeat work and the person they would have recommended you to.
Always On answers it, books the appointment, and you never hear about it, because there was nothing to miss.
04 — How this differs
Three contrasts
If you have tried something adjacent before, this is where it was different.
Three ways it’s not what you’re used to.
- 01
An answering service takes a message. This books the appointment.
A message is work you still have to do tomorrow; a booking is work that is already done.
- 02
An answering service reads a script. This knows your business.
Your services, your prices, your hours, your area, and the questions you need asked before a job is worth booking.
- 03
A chat widget only catches people already on your site. This also catches the ones who call.
Most people who want a local service pick up the phone first. That is the moment this covers.
05 — Investment
The first install
Always On answers calls, texts and website chat, and it goes in first: reminders, reviews, follow-up and past clients are add-on workers installed on top of it.
Install the front desk first. Add a worker when the work shows up.
Minimum investmentStarting at $450 a monthand $900 setup, once. Final pricing depends on the complexity of the work.

The minimum above is where it starts: your actual quote is sent once your audit is done and its findings are delivered. Setup is paid when you sign. Your monthly fee starts the day Always On starts answering, or 30 days after you sign, whichever comes first. Three-month minimum, then cancel any time. Above the conversations included, we tell you before anything changes. Texts begin once carrier approval for texting clears. Reminders, review requests, follow-up and bringing past clients back are add-on workers installed on top of Always On, on the AI Workforce Solutions page; the first add-on brings your CRM and client list.
Not sure which plan fits? The audit will tell you.

Asked before signing
Anything else, ring the demo number and ask it.
The questions behind the decision.
Will callers know it isn’t a person?
Most don’t ask. It speaks plainly, answers the question and gets to the booking. If a caller asks outright whether they’re speaking to a person, it tells them the truth.
What happens when it doesn’t know the answer?
It says so rather than guessing, takes the details, and passes the enquiry to you as one that needs a person. Anything it gets asked often can be added so it knows next time.
How is this different from an answering service?
An answering service takes a message for you to act on later. This asks your qualifying questions and books the appointment into your calendar while the customer is still interested.
Does it replace my receptionist?
No. It covers the calls nobody can take — after hours, during a rush, and when the line is already engaged — and hands your team the enquiries that need a person.
How long until it’s answering?
Setup is done with you, in your words, and tested before it goes live. You hear it handle your own scenarios before a single real customer reaches it.
What if we also have a Smart Web Presence site?
Then there is one chat on your site, not two: Always On’s replaces the site’s FAQ chat, and the site’s monthly fee drops to match. Anything we have already set up for you, like the booking calendar, is taken off the price of whichever you buy second.
Is there a contract?
Yes, a short one. Setup is paid when you sign, and your monthly fee starts the day it starts answering, or 30 days after you sign if that comes first. The first three months are the minimum; after that it’s month to month, and you can cancel any time.
What do your callers hear after hours?
We go through the customer journey the way a customer does and send written findings showing where enquiries reach you, where they don’t, and what looks worth fixing first. The audit costs nothing, and there is no obligation to continue.
